How it all started...
Our Story
LV Church began on September 18, 1961, as a small home mission on Avenue I in El Campo, Texas. From those humble beginnings, God began building a church that would serve generations of families in our community.
Throughout the years, LV Church has been blessed by many pastors and leaders who faithfully served, prayed, preached, and helped carry the ministry forward. As the church grew, the congregation purchased a building at 209 E. Strand Street, where services were held for approximately 40 years.
On September 29, 2019, Pastor Moisés Rodriguez and his wife, Nikki, stepped into the role of lead pastors. Since that time, we have continued to see God grow the church, strengthen families, and expand our impact throughout the community.
A new chapter began when LV Church moved to its current home at 2605 W. Loop in El Campo. Our first service in the new building was held on December 18, 2022.
From a small home mission to the church we are today, our story is one of God’s faithfulness. We honor those who came before us, celebrate what God is doing now, and look forward with faith to what He will do in the generations to come.

We believe God is still writing the story of LV Church.
As we look to the future, our vision is to continue growing as a church that reaches people, strengthens families, develops leaders, and serves our community with the love of Christ. We want to create more opportunities for people of every generation to encounter Jesus, build meaningful relationships, discover their purpose, and use their gifts to make a difference.
Our desire is not simply to grow larger, but to grow deeper in faith, stronger in community, and greater in our impact.
As God opens new doors, we are committed to following His lead and expanding the vision for the generations to come.
