A Roman centurion faced a situation he could not fix, but he understood something powerful about Jesus: Jesus did not have to be physically present for His authority to reach the need.
His response was simple:
“Just say the word, and my servant will be healed.” — Luke 7:7
Faith does not give Jesus authority.
Faith recognizes the authority He already has.
Today we’ll be reminded that His Word is enough, His authority is not limited by distance, and Jesus is still worthy of our trust.
